One aspect of this story that I liked were the information blurbs. They gave me a lot of information that I never knew about Lewis and Clark. For example, until this story I had no idea that Clark had a slave named York or that Lewis had a dog named Seaman. I also learned that Lewis carried a journal where he wrote down his experiences during the trip. I thought that the interactive side portions of the text showed good informtation. For example, on page 34 the book introduced who went on the voyage with Lewis and Clark ( ) In 1804, just two years after the Louisiana Purchase, explores Meriwether Lewis and William Clark began their search for the Northwest Passage. Great friends, the men had met in the army ten years earlier. Within twenty-eight months, they covered over 7,000 miles. Along the way, they encountered intriguing discoveries, dangers, beautiful countryside, and both hostile and welcoming Native Americans. They opened the door to the American West. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
