A reasonable collection of vaguely fantastical stories with a Christmas tinge. I enjoyed the first half more than the second. A couple were so bizarrely complex (and frankly infodumpy) that I couldn't be bothered to read them, while there were also a couple of very grim stories that felt bizarrely out of place in what seemed to be presented as a pretty light-hearted book. I dunno, I don't think the violent drug-dealing with child abuse (and no actual Christmas connection) was remotely appropriate, while Rudolph as a spree killer and a peculiarly gory but frivolous war were also very far from my expectations. Otherwise fine. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
The first two months of profits go to Cystic Fibrosis research. With a little bit of nice, a sprinkle of dark, a handful of sexy, and a whole lot of naughty, this adult-oriented anthology is filled with blushes, laughs, and gasps. This is not your average holiday reading. From the story behind Marley's fate, to a little elf who makes the perfect "toy" to the holiday rituals that keep the world going, Naughty or Nice: A Holiday Anthology, keeps the pages turning.
