I have whiplash! I had to skim most of this after about 30%. The h is TFSTL....a neon sign probably couldn't have convinced her that her "boyfriend" was a controlling, abusive, asshole! Lainey is the daughter of an MC president, her brother is part of the MC, and she is in love with the VP of the MC. She is surrounded by BADASS bikers who love the little "princess" BUT, she can't tell them about the terrible abuse because the abuser is blackmailing her. OH.....and, she can't put them all at risk or hurt her family, blah, blah, blah, frustrating blah! Anyway, after being a punching bag door mat for most of the book she finally grows a spine towards the end. Who does she take it out on then? Yes, the man who loves her and would have helped her if she would have just said something! It's ALL his fault. The only good part of this book is the love story between her and Mik.....when she isn't blaming him for all that's gone awry in her pathetic life. I can't read anymore of these.....don't want to pay good money for a book I have to skim. UGH.....wish I could get back the hours I spent the last couple days reading this. ( )

I was looking for a new MC romance and this one fit the bill.This isn't a sugar and sweet MC, and it comes with triggers.I can see this series getting better the further it goes on. ( )

I really liked the first half of the book.The writing, the characters, the flashbacks, the story.After that it went downhill. The characters behaved very stupidly, the story lost it's interest and the protagonist lost my sympathy. ( )

This is a dark romance so it was an emotional rollercoaster. With extremely strong and stubborn main characters and a great support cast, this quickly became one of my favorite books by this Author. The writers voice and storyline were brilliant. It was frustrating at times, some of the things that made it, by definition, a dark romance but I knew that I’d feel that way as I started reading the novel. It’s a great start to a very promising series. I recommend this book to all 18 who love biker romances. This copy gifted to me by the Author for an honest review. ( )

There was some weak reasoning on the plot, but the story was written very well and kept me interested. I finished this in one sitting. ( )
