The illustrations add to the spooky mood and it reads almost like poetry. The students would likely love it, especially the part where the kids scare the monsters at the end. It could be used to talk about different perspectives because of this. This short illustrated tale puts a fun twist on Halloween Night. We start with the different introductions, in both English and Spanish, of all sorts of creatures and objects found typically on the holiday. The story then goes to tell about how on this night, the monsters throw a party of their own. Their party comes to a sudden stop when something even scarier than the monsters appear, children in costumes! Having a story like this in the classroom is a fun break from normal, everyday work that allows students to read from a different perspective and a different language. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
Easy to read, rhyming text about Halloween night incorporates Spanish words, from las brujas riding their broomsticks to los monstruos whose monstrous ball is interrupted by a true horror. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
