The book will have many engaging questions that you can discuss with your children. These books will increase the sense of wonder for your children. ( ) This is an A+ informational science book for elementary school readers. I think it would work well as a read-aloud for 1st graders & 2nd graders, as well as a book read independently by 3rd graders & up. I read it with my 5th grade summer schools students, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Emily Morgan's expectations for her readers and conversational style of writing are incredible. I also enjoyed the additional resources in the back of the book-- links to science activities through the National Wildlife Federation & more! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
"If you know children who say "Ick!" when they spot a spider, this book will make them say "Ooh!" instead. Next Time You See a Spiderweb describes how these skilled creatures weave nature's most clever traps--their webs. It shows how spiders snare their prey with messy tangled webs and intricate orb webs. Readers will learn how spiders spin sticky silk without getting stuck themselves."-- Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
