I found myself having sad nostalgic flashbacks to every goodbye I ever said... and some I didn't get the chance to say. ( ) This is another book about an unlikely friendship. A porcupine and anteater who are best friends, but their friendship is cut short because the porcupine and her family are moving. They play together one more time, and get very said when the porcupine has to leave, but when she gets to her new home she gets happy because she gets to have all fun memories from their friendship. This book is about a porcupine and an anteater who are very good friends. The porcupine has to move away and is sad because they have to leave their friend the anteater behind. They go out together and play one last day together for old time's sake. At the end of the story, the porcupine unpacks his stuff and hangs up all the pictures that the anteater made for her. She no longer feels sad as she now has a reminder of her friend right there in her new room with her. This book is a good way to teach children about change. Change can be scary for young children to deal with as they do not know what to expect or how it will turn out. This story shows that even though change can be scary, good things can come from change. The illustrations in this book are adorable. The shading and blending in the pictures is so well done. They really add to the overall story. At the end of the book, there are very cute illustrations that are enlargements of the pictures that the anteater drew the porcupine, which also really add to the overall story as a whole. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
