School is out. Now it's time for Nweb's vacation. He should be excited, but instead he's worried. This year Nweb's family has decided to leave the city and vacation in the village of his grandparents. Nweb has never been to the village. He doesn't know anyone there. He's worried that he won't meet anyone who will play with him. But things begin to brighten up when he meets a boy name Masso. Soon Nweb is fishing, climbing trees, and learning the customs of his people. He is sad to return tothe city, but one day he will visit the village again.
