Piper and Coop's love-hate relationship is completely engaging and thankfully devoid of the ridiculous shenanigans that marred some of the earlier books. Piper is feisty and independent with a ingrained sense of integrity that shines through every interaction. Coop is obviously an alpha male determined to win at all costs and used to getting what he wants. Of course, these two clash at first sight, and their banter is laugh-out-loud funny. Their chemistry is off the charts and keeps you turning the pages. This installment even includes a minor mystery for those who enjoy a little suspense with their romance. In sum, one of the best conclusions to a series ever.
