A collection of nature photography by Bill Fortney, who took to the air to capture America's most remarkable scenery from just 500 feet off the ground. With room for only one person in the ultralight aeroplane, Fortney had to learn how to fly a plane and then how to take photographs at the same time. Aided by his son Wesley, who also became a pilot for this project and contributes to the book, he offers photographic look at nature and reveals both the emotional and dramatic experiences that this father and son team faced during their 14-month journey across America.
