This young wolf whose parents taught him good manners goes out alone in the forest to hunt for the first time. When he quickly caught a rabbit, the rabbit had a last wish before he was eaten. Since the wolf was well mannered, he respected the previous request and went home to get a book for the wolf to read to the rabbit When he came back; the rabbit was gone. Every time he caught something, they always asked for the last wish which the wold needed to respect. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

Full of wit. The art style and tone of the story work perfectly together. I have no problem with the ending. The way it's portrayed is so clever and funny I can't fault the slight ambiguity of the narrative (although really it's pretty obvious what happens). This has been compared to the style of Jon Klassen and I can see that. I like this better than his work though, as I don't tend to get Klassen's style. ( )
