Incredibly fast read. Loved it. This revolves around two divorcees who start dating and "play make believe" all over Palm Springs. This includes taking a test drive of an expensive car and running out on a check in a high-end restaurant. Things turn bad when one "game" goes too far and the intensity begins. This bookshot ends in a twist and I loved every second of it. This counted as two of my challenges for the BookTubeAThon 2017. Reading a book in a day and reading a book outdoors. Cheers and happy reading! About-to-be-divorced Christy picks up about-to-be-divorced Martin [to whom she is unabashedly attracted] and the two engage in a strange game of make-believe. It’s all in fun . . . or is it? Readers are apt to be tempted to sling brickbats at the annoying, too-dumb-for-words Christy, but an eleventh-hour twist readers won’t see coming elevates this seemingly vapid BookShots tale to a whole new level and earns it an extra star. This particular book, I did not enjoy. I did not like the story line or the characters. I felt frustrated with the characters. ( )
