A little to romance for me, not a lot of meat to this book, but there was an interesting twist to the history of the French Revolution. ( ) Again, like The Wind Dancer, Storm Winds is historical fiction. Still not my favorite genre to read, but I liked this story better than the 1st in the trilogy. I liked that Jean and Juliette were attracted to each other, but that they fought that attraction. Juliette, much like Sanchia in the fist book, is not the character that you'd think these powerful men would be attracted to, but they are strong. Juliette learned early on that she had to take care of herself, and it created a toughness about her. I also enjoyed Catherine. I liked how she developed and grew as the story went on, and I liked that she matured and then was finally able to fall in love. The description and setting of Vasaro and how it helped her was awesome. A great part to the story. My complaint about this one was length. It just seemed to go on and on without really adding depth to the overall story. There are parts of this one that will stick with me though! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
