Not quite a pop up book, but still a fun way to discover different representations of the alphabet, that is more than just turning the page.

24 months - we enjoyed this one. O knows her alphabet and can identify the words pictured. We are working on connecting starting sounds with words/pictures and their starting letter and this is a good book for that. Some of the letters are altered just enough that it's hard for this age to make the connection with the symbol for the letter (the "H" doesn't look like an "H" to her). But it's still a great book an will have appeal for years to come. This book also appeals to my artistic side! ( )

This book will be very popular because its creative format and beautiful artwork will appeal to adults (who are buying the book and reading it over and over again) as well as children, but is not a classic or a heavily advertised bestseller.

The incredible artwork, the interactive element, and the faithfulness to the simplicity of the alphabet book genre combine in a book of excellent quality. ( )
