The sections most associated with trees are the, “Root Power” and “Tree of life” activities, but many of them involve trees in one way or another. Root Power is an experiment that shows students how a trees roots work. They grow seeds in jars and see that roots need to spread as they grow to obtain more nutrients. The experiment also shows how roots drink in water, by placing white flowers in cups of dyed water. Tree of life actives include how to measure a tree and how to tell the age of a tree.
