Although I love the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast, this version was very different from the versions I have been told. Cynthia Rylant tells the story of a beautiful girl named Beauty, who spends her life living with a Beast so that her father can live safely at home with her other two sisters. The story is told a little differently than the Disney version but has the same central message. The central message of the story is to sacrifice the ones you love. Beauty's father sacrificed himself for his daughters, Beauty sacrificed herself for her father, and Beast sacrificed himself for Beauty. Cynthia Rylant tells a continuous story of different sacrifices that are all based around love. I would recommend reading this story to a group of young readers so they can learn and understand the value of love and beauty. ( ![]() This is adaptation of the Beauty and the Beast story. This version is a combination of the disney version and the Grimm Brothers. Beauty was one of three daughters of a man that had become poor, although her sister were darkly discontent that they were poor, Beauty was happy to have her family. Her Farther took a rose after from the beast after staying at his place and was saying goodbye to his daughters but instead Beauty took his place then when the beast was dying she realized she loved him and he turned into the prince again. The lesson from this story is that beauty isn't everything its what inside that counts. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
