A fun read with memorably goofy-yet-realistic interactions among Tombstone's goons as well as between the two title characters. The plot is missing a bit of substance for it to really resonate with me, though (there is some potentiality for deeper emotion, but it never gets properly explored), and Iron Fist's Spider-Man-esque (albeit less witty) babbling gets more annoying than funny at several points. Bonus points for a great one-off story in the final issue in the collection, wherein Cage and Rand go to a local radio broadcast to set the record straight about a recent battle over a hot dog vendor cart. Luke Cage and Danny Rand reunite for a pretty damn amusing superhero sitcom. I'm really grooving on the writing and the art.

Funny, well written , a joy to read. Art is not in a style I usually like, but here it truly fits and it enhance the funny scenes. Love it, I hope the run goes on for a long time. ( )
