I read Cordelia Kingsbridge's Seven of Spades series some time ago and absolutely loved each and every addition. In this one, Charles and Angel were great characters, but it took some time for them to admit that they needed one another like they needed air. I have to admit that I never figured out who the person was that was wanting to eliminate Angel, but more importantly, I really didn't understand the why. I was happy with the way the story ended and I do so hope there will be more books for us to follow Charles and Angel's adventures. FGMAMTC Blog Review Guest Post & Giveaway 4.5 stars I love stories about trained tough guys (cops, military, etc.) working together and going to bed together. Something about all that intelligence, strength and alphaness just really ‘does it’ for me. Ángel’s confidence is so attractive. I admire how he owns each part of himself. Charles has a beautiful heart. He’s always concerned for others. Their relationship isn’t perfect. It’s realistic. Can’t Hide from Me’s action level is high throughout, and some parts get pretty suspenseful. There are also off-the-chart-hot sex scenes. I figured out the direction things were headed before the end, but I still loved the entire ride. I highly recommend it to those who like thrillers, mysteries and M/M romance. ***Copy given in exchange for an honest review*** Fangirl Moments and My Two Cents Website / Facebook / Twitter / Google / Pinterest / Goodreads / Tumblr / Bloglovin' / Instagram FGMAMTC Blog Review Guest Post & Giveaway 4.5 stars I love stories about trained tough guys (cops, military, etc.) working together and going to bed together. Being a fan of Kingsbridge's Seven of Spades series, I bought this after reading the e-excerpt. I was not disappointed. This is a tense thriller, the guys are bullheaded and not into baring souls, and the bad guy's pretty danged bad. Unlike a few reviewers, I thought it ended precisely where it needed to. Alas, like several reviewers, I agree that the casual racism against Mexicans is bad. It's character-specific...until it isn't. If that's going to offend you, avoid this novel. No story is worth that kind of exposure. ( )
