A intriguing insight in the thoughts of Kasparov behind it's match against IBM's deep blue out of 1997. The first time a human world chess champion is beaten by a computer. However when you read this book you wonder if all things were fair there in 1997. A the same time Kasparov gives the reader a broader view of AI and the evolution of chess machines and programs. If you are intrigued by AI and the loose connection from AI with chess this is something you have to read. At the same time you get some insight in the evolution of computer power the last 60 years.
