Very short story about Evan Smoak's first foray into being The Nowhere Man. I do love Orphan X stories, even though I never thought I'd like books like this. But as over the top Evan and the bad guys can be, I have a great time reading them. This tiny tale was no different. ( ) Evan Smoak seeks to rescue the lovely Leanne Lattimore, girlfriend and abuse victim of Silicon Valley Steve Radack, bad-boy of the software dot-com world, the visionary behind Thumbprint, a software that allows one to press a finger to a smartphone and pay for a variety of items. Senseless. The novella is about 20 pages long; the rest is a few chapters from the next book. It adds nothing to this series. Can you say RIPOFF? I love this series and when I saw the 3 novellas I snatched them up. I paid 1.99 for an 18-page story that could have been added at the end of a book as a bonus. The information is misleading by a long shot. The additional 60 pages is an excerpt for book 2. So, don't read them or don't read the beginning of book 2. It's your choice. Oh. And don't waste your money on this one. I feel like such a fool. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
