Why I picked this book up: I wanted to read this classic and I hadn’t read it before. It was a fun start from the beginning in my opinion. I was totally into this book!
Why I finished this book: I finished it because there was so much to this book, kids were stuck, they thought Tom whom they thought was the prince was crazy but would not call him out of reverence and all that but it really was much more about, merciful leadership than a fanciful tale with a moral lesson that I really appreciated. The real prince learned the importance of balancing strength and grace, not just blind power.
Rating: I’d give this book a 4.25 star rating out of 5 stars. I really liked this book it was fun and now I’m waiting for my oldest to read it. He’s been flying through huge books (about one a day) for weeks already. It’s fun to see. ( )
