She clearly sincerely loves children and captures their innocent joy with heartbreaking charm. I know the description says these are kindergarten children, but I think this book could also be shared with all ages 4-8 empathetically. Plus, you know how children at home often like to hear the same the same story over and over again, especially if it has a singable rhythm? Caregivers won't mind reading this 26 times! The first time it can be read straight through, as orientation. The next time the reader can focus on the teacher's experiences all day, and the subsequent times the reader can focus on each of the 24 children!
