This was actually pretty cute. I felt very happy, and a bit touched even, at the conclusion. (

This is 56 pages of great story, well worth a dollar minus a penny. :) ) It is a little predictable, but if you're in the mood for sweet needy lost soul meets competent good guy, this is your story. (

I quite liked this one! I felt like Ronald's hesitance made sense, and it was okay that Gus already knew everything because a novella doesn't have the length to expand the emotional plot too far. So keeping it simpler than a full-length novel would makes it sweeter, and unlike the last book, Hexmaker, I felt like Roland's worries were given enough development to be realistic.

I read "A Christmas Hex" all in one sitting immediately after finishing Hexmaker because I was enjoying "A Christmas Hex" so much as a sweet romance with a couple I was rooting for. (

Short but sweet.

This story has moved away from the MWP, but we still are connected to the world by Nick.
This one involves a Private Detective and a familiar that thinks no one can love him because he's a wolf. (
