This was the first I'd read in this series and I must confess I found it a bit 'all over the place'. Having said that, it could be due to me not knowing the background so it was more difficult to relate to storylines which had been started elsewhere.

I'm in two minds whether to work my way back to this or not. ( )

I have to say this was my least favorite Darkyn book. Nicola and her secrets proved too much for me to like her as i liked all the other heroines ( )

Can Nick and Gabriel manage to trust one another for long enough? Will Alexandra and Michael save the day in time? Lots of plot strands weaving together here make for plenty of action. Definitely NOT the place to start this series. ( )

Despite the many times I've re-read this book, I still enjoyed it very much. ( )
