Mary Balogh is a go to author of historical romances for me. ( ) This was incredible. I read it in one sitting. Watching Wren come out of her shell was beautiful and heartbreaking. Only one complaint: I didn't care much for the first two books in this series, but this one was more believable and actually showed their feelings developing for each other (and some character growth). The first two thirds were quite good and I planned to give it four stars, but the last third dragged for me and wasn't as engaging. Regardless, it renewed my hope in the series as I continue on! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
