It’s about a boy named Michael and his dog Cookie. Michael loves to play with Cookie, but Cookie can’t go to school. I think the pictures are pretty and beautiful. I think this book is nice and cool. I give this book five out of five stars! - Ethan Kim, Ivy Class, February 2018 Michael spent all summer with his dog Cookie, whom he loved very much. On the First Day of School he assumed Cookie would go with him. They walked to school together and his mother said that Cookie could not stay. Michael was upset and reassured him that it would be great if Cookie could stay she could be the school dog. This changed Micheal's mind he decided that Cookie could go home and wait for him, because Cookie was HIS dog not the school's. This book is just right for my daughters who are beginner readers. And they love it! Illustration plays an important part and the sentences are short and simple for them to read on their own. There are certain things like toys, books, stationeries, etc. which I told them are not allow to bring to school with the same reason that it will be share by their schoolmate, unless they are willing to. Conclusion is they will choose to leave the item at home. So the story is very relate-able. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
