Jase cannot read and he meets Charlie who is a writer. Their relationship quickly blossoms but Jase is hiding the fact that he cannot read from her. He is in the Army but they see each other as much as they can and try to discover where the relationship is going. At a writer's course which Jase books on just to see Charlie, they spend lots of time together but Jase gets called away suddenly but they plan to stay together. It's very sweet and a great story, written well with mostly believable characters. ( )
