Recommend: Highly Recommended
Level: 8-12 years
Stick cat loves to admire the view from his apartment window. His best friend, Edith lives in the apartment next door. They have scratched a cat sized "door" in the wall to visit each other. Hazel is the bagel maker across the street. One day they are watching her make bagels and she disappears into the giant vat of dough. It is up to Stick Cat and Edith to save the day. I would highly recommend this for any collection owning others in the series. It is a quick read that will keep the readers attention. The characters are humorous and the author does a great job of portraying the true nature of a cat. (
