Picked this book up from the library in order to finish a task on my 101 list. It was a super quick read about two Siamese cats, Koko and Yum Yum, who live with the writer James Mackintosh Qwilleran. The story starts off by explaining the strange circumstances by which Koko entered James's life and his search for a playmate for Koko, leading to Yum Yum. The short chapters that then follow re-tell different adventures the trio find themselves in and ponders on the rather strange but loveable behaviour that the cats (and cats in general) display. This book was quite sweet and funny, although may not be as funny for a non-cat lover. :] geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

Fans of the Cat Who... series get an intimate look at the private lives of those extraordinary Siamese cats Koko and Yum Yum--the most unlikely, most unusual, most delightful team in detective fiction. In this charming collection of feline antics, readers will discover why Qwill considers Koko a veritable clone of T.S. Eliot's Rum Tum Tugger, how Yum Yum was rescued from a burglar who is not above a spot of catnapping, and many more fascinating cat facts. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
