However, there were more stories I felt "meh" about than stories I absolutely loved. I liked the way the anthology was divided into past, present, and future. I can totally say I enjoyed the stories from the "past" the best. I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi and fantasy so those didn't really appeal to me. They weren't bad- just not my jam. ( ) Leigh0906 | Mar 1, 2018 | Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten.HOWEVER, having said all of that, the reason I'm writing this right now (when I'm far from finished with the book) is because I just finished reading Marissa Doyle's "Alea Iacta Est"—about a young woman in early-1800s London who takes the place of her injured brother playing tabletop war games at a gentleman's club—which was an absolute DELIGHT, and has totally rekindled my interest in this collection.
