Homer's Iliad and Odyssey are unquestionably two of the greatest epic masterpieces in Western literature. Goedkoop is duurkoop zei mijn moeder altijd. ja mam. Maar het is wel zo denk ik. Als 1e jaars student deze uitgave bij de Slegte gekocht voor een tientje, maar nu wilde ik dat ik dat tientje bewaard had en voor een betere uitgave was gegaan.
Hij is niet heel slecht, maar er zijn zo veel beter op de markt met inleidingen, noten nawoord en notenapparaat te verkrijgen, die ook nog eens beter zijn vertaald. Maar goed. Voor dat geld mag je eigenlijk niet klagen. dat mag dan weer niet.... ( )
