A sweet and silly book about a rabbit and his woodland animal friends. This book is a bit of a tongue twister as letters are switched with letters from other words. which makes it fun and funny to read. I enjoyed the humorous poems and the cute illustratons. A book to be enjoyed by young and old. Shel Silverstein is a 2014 Chicago Literacy Hall of Fame Winner. He is the author and illustrator of this book. Here is an example of a verse: Beddy Tear Stets Guck Runny Babbit went tosee His good friend Beddy Tear, Who had some nice heet swoney That he was glad to share. They slobbed it and gurped it- It gluck to them like stue. Said Beddy Tear to Runny, 'I stink I'm thuck on you.'" A "billy sook" published posthumous from Shel Silverstein. Book is the traditional Shel Silverstein style. This poetry story takes you to a land where animals play and say words in different ways. The rabbits like to switch the first letters of a word with the first letter of the next work. This makes for a silly, laugh out loud, tongue twisting read. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
