Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. I have not read the first book in this series but after reading this book I wouldn't mind reading the first book. The main leads, Hunter and Tracy were good. Although, I do have to say that someone kind of stole some of the spotlight from them. His name is Adam. Going from having a prison record to being a father to Adam has left Hunter clueless. Luckily, he had Tracy to help him. She is kind. As far as romance goes, there was no movement until more than the half way mark. From there kisses were stolen. The chemistry between these two was sweet. That is exactly how the whole story was...sweet. Kind of like a dash of Debbie Macomber thrown in the mix. This book will get you started in the holiday mood. I love how the author kept the theme of Christmas throughout the book. The settings and descriptions just made me want to move in next door and visit the diner! Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. Hunter is working to create a successful life for himself. He is the owner, chef, and manager of a cafe. Tracy is a nurse, but also wants to be a baker. She has a part time job preparing delicious pies for Hunter's cafe, plus bakes for other clients upon request. Hunter and Tracy are drawn to one another, but both are holding back from a relationship because they don't want to spoil the friendship they currently enjoy. Their comfortable world is rocked with Hunter unexpectedly becomes a parent when friends die. The book was an enjoyable and comfortable read, with a nice Christmas theme. I received a copy of this book from LibraryThing in exchange for a review.A truly beautiful Christmas story about two broken people who, through the appearance of a baby in their midst, find a way to trust, to love, and to commit to each other. Both touching and redemptive, this story will bring forth the true meaning of Christmas. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
