I really enjoyed how the book was written from the dogs perspective. The dog emma has an issue with all the demands that comes from the human George. Emma then comes across a canine advice column that gives advice to dogs. Emma begin to email Queenie about every complaint that he had. That advice led Emma away on a casting role, leaving George behind. He was a big hit. George soon misses Emma and happily welcomed him back once he returned. The illustrations were very funny but they seemed to be all over the place. ( ) My review of this book is that it is a good book to read to the classroom because it expresses how children may feel sometimes but in a different context. Children are always being told no and parents are getting mad at them for the things that they get into and want to explore but they don't try to make a mess on purpose, it is just a way of learning through life. So, when children get read this book they may feel the same way the dog Emma does but it is just because she doesn't know any better. The main idea of this book is that even though they may fight, at the end of the day, they still love each other. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
