I liked this book a lot because I think it is very fun and interactive for young children. I read this book to my kindergarteners on Halloween and they loved being able to turn the pages and open an extended page to reveal a new character. The book is about little critter going to a Halloween party and he is really afraid of all the costumes until his friends reveal themselves underneath and he realizes it's all fake. This book doesn't really teach anything but I think it is a great book with fun illustrations that really capture children's attention. If there was anything to take away from this book I think that it would be beneficial to read before Halloween to help kids who might be afraid of the costumes when they go trick or treating, so maybe this book could be beneficial in teaching children that Halloween is made up and everything you see is a costume. ( ) Little Critter and his little sister are preparing for a halloween party at a spooky hunted house. They arrive and enjoy fun games and activites with all their friends, but they are constantly concerned about the monsters that may be lerking behind closet doors. Jump right into Happy Halloween, Little Critter and pull back the flaps to find out what monsters are also at the party. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
