Leonardo was born in the village of Vinci, between the Tuscan cities of Empoli and Pistoia, on 15th April 1452. A decent book about DaVinci’s paintings and sketches. It provides brief overviews about his works during different time periods and locations. Pictures of his gorgeous art are the highlights of this book. This book has been on my shelf for a very long time. There are definitely better books about daVinci available. ( )
