A true classic to learning about all sorts of topics ranging from people, animals, history, national geographic always does a great job of putting out real information kids 4-7 can understand and learn about. I also like the fact they include weird but true facts into it, small details matter. ( ) This book is good for ages 7-9, It is not great as a read aloud but can be used as one if needed. It goes over his early life and his impact in the early life of America, it gives great fun facts on his life. It includes interactive graphics, small question and answers, and a timeline of his life that is easy to follow. This is a much more accessible Hamilton biography than the Chernow version that inspired Lin Manuel Miranda. It is written for children and is organized in a sensible way and provides pertinent details of Hamilton's life. It also has multiple features of nonfiction text, which are beneficial. It includes relevant definitions and background information without seeming condescending. The book includes maps, photographs & illustrations with captions, text boxes, timelines, and headings within the text. There is also a table of contents, quiz, glossary, and index within the book. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
