Op dit moment geen Discussie gesprekken over dit boek. excellent - Katrina This is a great series to introduce children to various biomes, using examples found in North America. The layouts are visually appealing and include informational sidebars, which don't distract from the main text. The narrative is well-written, engaging, and full of sensory details, which makes it an excellent book to read aloud. For further exploration, this book pairs well with "Cactus Desert" from the "One Small Square" series by Donald Silver. A Walk in the Desert tells about the plants and animals found on the Sonoran desert. The book describes some other types of deserts, but concentrates on the Sonoran. It is illustrated with pictures. On each page are images of paper clipped notes, as though the reader is also cataloging the desert. The animal pictures are very clear and detailed. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
