U.S. Marshals (double-sided disc, 1998, 131 min.): U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard is accompanying a planeload of convicts from Chicago to New York. The plane crashes and Mark Sheridan escapes. But when the FBI's John Royce is assigned to help Gerard recapture Sheridan, it becomes clear that Sheridan is more than just another murderer.
The client (double-sided disc, 1994, 121 min.): Mark Sway is an 11-year-old boy torn between what he knows and what he can never tell. A hitman will kill him if Mark reveals what he learned about a Mob murder. An ambitious federal prosecutor will keep the pressure on until Mark tells all. Suddenly, Mark isn't a boy playing air guitar anymore; he's a pawn in a deadly game. His only ally is a courageous but unseasoned attorney who risks her career for him but never imagines she'll also risk her own life.
Space cowboys (2000, 130 min.): Four test pilots who missed their trip to space get a second chance when they are called upon to repair an aging Russian satellite.
Cobb (1994, 129 min.): Baseball legend Ty Cobb asks sportswriter Al Stump to write his biography. Cobb lives down his reputation as an extremely difficult person. While driving across country to a banquet at the Baseball Hall of Fame, Cobb tells Stump about his life but his gun wielding, drinking and drug use get them into many scrapes along the way. Stump writes both the version Cobb dictates to him and the version he himself sees, but he only publishes Cobb's version. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
