This book is the doting of two parents upon their newborn baby. They talk about what life was like before the baby arrived, as well as how it changed afterwards. They make use of much figurative language, including hyperbole and metaphor. Furthermore, the parents seem to believe in the existence of God, as they make reference to him multiple times. ( )

This book is a fantacy fiction which talked about what the parents did before their baby was born, they put all their love to their children like every parent did, details in this book was quite touched and give students or readers a lot to aftertaste. It also used al lot of parallel construction. This book is quite interesting and meaningful which is appropriate for elementary school students. ( )

Realistic Fiction: This story is about a baby being born and the parents tell him what their life was like before he was born. This story gives off the imprecation that the baby is supposed to be Jesus. Its a book I would recommend for the older grades like 3rd and above.

This is a book all about a loving family who has a son. They talk about their life before he is born and all the amazing plans that God has for him. The book has Christian influence as there is a verse on the last page. The book is all about the plans the parents have for the son and what their life was like before he was born. They talk about how their son changed their world and how God has a wonderful plan for their son's life. This book would be an example of modern fantasy.

This is a christianity book about parents welcoming a new baby. The book is written according to Psalm 139:13-16. This is a beautiful story about God's creation of families and how parents are willing to change everything to love their child. Everything in life becomes about that child, life completely changes but the parents wouldn't have it any other way.

Genre critique: I would say this is a modern fantasy book because of the imaginative parts with the animals. This is a difficult book to classify because it's inspired by the Bible. The illustrations also make it read like a fantasy book.

Media: charcoal and pastel ( )
