I didn’t read the whole book before it was due back at the library but of the little I did read, it was quite informative with bright and colorful illustrations.

A sturdy hardcover for young armchair adventurers that will hopefully inspire them to explore our national parks! The gorgeous illustrations remind me of Charley Harper's flat style, and on the splash pages for the parks a variety of people are shown, indicating that parks are for everyone!

Not every park gets a feature but there's only so much space, I suppose. Every park is mentioned at least on the region pages, though. I do recall seeing a typo or two (or maybe just word choice where I would've picked something a little different), but overall a good way to pique interest in public lands. I initially bought this as a baby shower gift and then decided to get my own copy! ( )

Something that gets lost in the great many things America has to offer are the national parks. It is a shame, because these parks are a treasure, a diamond in the rough, a beautiful escape from reality. If you can't visit in person, this book provides the next best thing. This will enamor kids with the beauty of nature, and show them how important these parks are to America. A great read. Nonfiction, Informative, Environmental. ( )

i was looking for a good nature book and came across this one. This book not only has facts about the national parks, but it has animals that are located at different ones, where they're located on a map, just overall so much information that is really interesting. The illustrations are really well done and in a cool theme that kids love. Very easy to read and entertaining to learn from. ( )
