The POVs could switch in the middle of a paragraph, but I managed to stick with them because it was good to see what both David and Jonathan were thinking and feeling. The title is the story, but it still worked because Jonathan had some secrets he’d been hiding. Still loving how this author builds up lives together, and this “series“ is fascinating because some previous people aren’t couples yet and others are; it definitely plays around with time. ( ) Hmmm, while sweet (and addictive like the rest of this series) I have to say this is my least favourite thus far... It has all the elements I've mentioned before: overly sweet, insta-love, excessive sex. However, the latter happening, very loudly (the authors several times refers to the MC's as "screaming their release") with a toddler sleeping in the next room? Yeah, that skates into completely unbelievable territory for me unfortunately. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

A Book in the Home SeriesDo you believe in love at first sight? Jonathan does: the moment he glimpsed the striking David from afar, he was hooked, but David disappeared before they could meet.More than three years later, Jonathan gets a second chance--he and David finally meet face to face, and the two fall into a passionate love affair. David turns Jonathan's previously lonely life into a fairy tale, giving him more than he ever imagined. But the past few years have been hard for Jonathan, and he's terrified that his young son and scandalous past will be too much for David. If they're going to build a future together, they're both going to have to dig deep: David for the courage to share himself in a way he's never considered... and Jonathan for the strength to tell the truth.
