( ) I saw the sub-heading “Everything You Need to Know Before You Go” and thought this would be perfect since I wasn’t looking for a guidebook but more of a prep book about going to Europe; stuff like tipping customs and electric plug adapters. Maybe I should have read the book description more carefully because it was aimed more towards people who are planning long-term backpacking type adventures across Europe, not me and my one week vacation where I plan to stay in hotels. There were some useful bits here and there (advice about culture shock and types of clothes to bring) but it was mixed in with advice on hitchhiking and picking up odd jobs. While I imagine it could be useful for wanderlust types who have 6 months to spend roaming around, most of the information was useless to me. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
