It covers poems about everything from doors, to honeycombs, to eggs. Great for students because it has a ton of variety in the poems, different lengths, some rhyming and some not, and obviously themes. My favorite from this book was "cat bath" on page 28. ( ) Still More Small Poems consists of twenty-five short poems. The poems are written in free verse. The author, Valerie Worth, uses a unique writing style, with very little rhyme in her poems. Each of her poems are about something different. They range from poems about a door to a kite to snow. With so much variety in the book, you are more likely to stumble upon a poem you like. My favorite poem in this book was Kite. I loved the way the text on the second page of this poem was written at the bottom to illustrate how high the kite was flying, alone in the sky. Still More Small Poems is a book of twenty-five poems. These poems are just about random things, whether it’s a door, a cat or a kite. These poems help readers see into these objects a little more. At first, I thought it was easy reading, but the poems told a greater story of the objects in the book. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
