Wat een geweldig en origineel boek is dit. Er zit alles in wat je van een goed fantasy boek mag verwachten. Avonturen, geheimzinnige personen en plaatsen, katten en uilen, Aansprekende personages die toch hun geheimzinnigheid behouden. Wat ik heel bijzonder vind zijn de romantische koppels. Ik ben zelden een boek tegengekomen waarin homoseksualiteit zo naadloos in het boek hoort. Absoluut een topper. ( )
