Not what one might expect from Frederick Forsyth, this is a slightly spooky Christmas story about a young pilot who gets lost flying home on Christmas Eve. I think pilots would like it, and although I'm not one, I enloyed it. This is the story read by Alan Maitland on CBC Radio every Christmas. (Available on YouTube.) Update: a dramatization was made in 2023 and is available on Disney+. ( )
Nifty little read with lots of illustration (that makes the reading even faster). Aviation thriller cum ghost story plus a depiction of human nature. The pilot made so many assumptions about his rescuer and turned out to be wrong all the time. We are like that, aren't we? ( )
