The value of these videos lies in their presentation of archaeological data challenging the peer-reviewed, popular scientific orthodoxy of our day and exposing the speculative nature of much of "scientific" retellings of the distant past and, perhaps, even of the more recent past. Academic "peer pressure" in any field of research runs the risk of marginalizing evidence that would support alternative models of history and science that would fittingly challenge the current conventions of scientific speculation. True science has its hypotheses, its theories, its experimental methods, its observations, and even its recognition of "natural laws." Nevertheless, if the Copernican Revolution taught us anything, it taught us that no scientific model should ever be worshiped as unquestionable dogma. Scientific revolution has occurred and it will, most likely, occur again, but the advancement of science ought not to be suppressed through dismissive denial or dishonest neglect of challenging data. Science ought never be considered "all-knowing," neither by theists nor by atheists. To presume omniscience is to forfeit any further progress.

The data presented in these videos do not necessarily lead to the conclusions drawn by any of the contributors. The conclusions are speculative in nature. When a person speculates, he adopts an agenda to which he, then, conforms arising data by subduing the potential import of such data to his speculative agenda. He subdues the data to his agenda by means of his hermeneutical framework and interpretative assumptions. Such a speculative agenda only gains validity when it, through some level of accurate representation of the truth, opens the door to the increase of knowledge and the actualization of new abilities of humankind, hopefully for its benefit and improvement. The True Good and highest attainment for humankind, however, is God. There is nothing greater than to love God and become Divine by the Grace of the Holy Trinity.

From an Orthodox Christian perspective, the "ancient-alien" hypothesis of human origins is yet another attempt to distract people from seeking and encountering God, their true Creator and the Ultimate Meaning of their existence. As such, the "ancient-alien" presupposition is anti-Christ in nature, denying both God and His Divine Incarnation. Satan is currently using this "ancient-alien" ideology to deceive many into seeking relationship, not with God, but with alien forces, demonic in nature.

For more information on the "Ancient-Alien" deception, see the following articles from an Orthodox perspective:
