Comme d'habitude, Bernard Werber sait nous entraîner dans son univers à la fois incroyable et plausible. Il sait relier entre elles légendes et Histoire avec un grand "H" pour nous faire rêver et sourire. Quelle fabuleuse imagination! Bernard Werber est décidément mon auteur favori, n'en déplaise aux pseudo-intellectuels qui le raillent sans avoir le dixième de son talent. ( )

This demonstrate exactly why hard sci-fi is beyond many authors' capabilities. Not only is anything having to do with engineering and physics laughably nonsensical, but most stuff having to do with social and biological sciences is far worse, and the guy just keep going straight ahead without so much as a hand wave! Philosophically, the thing is little else than a long, annoyingly cynical escapist thing. The entire novel is a single, massive trainwreck. ( )
