When Jane Henry sets out to write a dark romance, she sure makes sure that she meets her goal. Bratva's Baby was all that I could've hoped for and even more. So, Sadie is a quiet librarian who is pretty sure that she will never be in a relationship with a man, and then Kazimir shows up. He's quiet and handsome and when he takes her out to dinner, he makes her feel special. And then, she wakes up, and she's definitely not in Kansas anymore, she's on her way to Russia. She doesn't know it, but Kazimir has definite plans for her. Very definite plans. OK, I was totally torn on Kazimir through about the first half of the book. I couldn't decide whether I hated him or liked him, or liked to hate him, or hated to like him. Or... I dunno. I mean I liked him and then sometimes he would just be a giant prong. I understand his motivation and why he was the way he was. I also think he might've been a little naive about some things as well, which is odd to say considering who he is. Maybe not naive, but blind. I do like Sadie. She's pretty torn on Kaz herself, but she isn't afraid to let him know what's what, at least in the beginning. I really enjoyed the entire story and wouldn't mind finding out more about them later on. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

My orders are simple. Capture her.Marry her.Take her inheritance.Get rid of her. The bookish little recluse is worth more than she knows. She's an unassuming librarian.I'm the brigadier of the Russian Bratva. She has no friends.I command a small army. She's a modest woman. And now she's mine. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
