A bit of an improvement on Captivated, but Robin Schone's story is still the only one that really deserves those three stars. ( ) Mastering Lady Lucinda, by Bertrice Small (2 stars) Risking It All, by Susan Johnson (1 star) The Pleasure Game, by Thea Devine Regina overhears her father asking family friend Jeremy to distract her from the man she is chasing, Raultson. In order to confound their plan, and insight jealousy, Regina asks Jeremy to show her own to deal "with a man of experience" by teaching her all the tricks a mistress would know. (2 stars) A Man and a Woman, by Robin Schone An 53-year-old Englishman, who became an Arab eunuch at the age of 13, finds love and a sense of manhood with a widow whose husband refused her the comfort and companionship of touch after discovering she couldn't bear children. They go together to tell his family he didn't die long ago but still lives. (Excellent! -- 5 stars) I bought this book, because I had previously purchased Captivated and enjoyed it, so when I found out tthat the same authors had done it again, well I just had to pick it up. All four stories are unique and original, they each are quite hot in their own way, but the one that stands out for me is A Man and A Woman by Robin Schone. Ms. Schone has brought to us two unusual characters in that one is an eunich and the other a middle-aged widow. While this is an unusual combination, Ms. Schone provides both lightness, and seriousness to the story. And as for the erotic content, well let me just say you better have a fire extinguisher handy. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
