~Wall of Words - 2* - The story matter was of little interest to me. Not what I look for in a story and have to say "I didn't really get it". Father doesn't let his family talk but he carves words out of wood and builds a wall. People ask too many questions and they get a word carved out of their bones and added to the wall.

~Extremophiles - 2* - A band leader insists on going to Antarctica to see where his brother died under odd circumstances. It was odd alright and he brought the odd thing back with them. Kinda of confusing for the last third.

~Making the Woman - 1* - Read previously in Unnatural Acts And Other Stories Some sick girls ripped a little boy's penis off iirc. wtf.

~Things of Which We Do Not Speak - 2* - read 2018 (realistic horror)
Read previously in Nightmare Magazine. BF is having a hard time entertaining GF's desire to be hit during sex because it brings back unpleasant childhood memories. One of which is being hit for punishment by his religious father.
